The American Citizen Services (ACS) Section is open to the public Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, excluding U.S and Guyanese holidays.

In an emergency involving a U.S citizen in Guyana, you can reach us during normal business hours or after hours, seven days a week via the following numbers:

Weekends and After Business Hours
After hours emergencies are handled by the Embassy's Duty Officer. Situations such as the arrest, serious illness, injury, destitution, or death of a U.S. citizen constitute emergencies.
