If you are traveling to Guyana for an immigrant or non-immigrant visa interview, Guyana requires all persons 12 years or older to be FULLY vaccinated against COVID-19. On June 18, 2022, Guyana lifted it’s COVID-19 testing requirement for entry into the country. Travelers to Guyana no longer need to show a negative COVID-19 test result.

At this time, all vaccines administered in the region are being accepted, including the Cuban Abdala and Soberana vaccines as well as those approved by the FDA & WHO for emergency use. Guyana considers “fully vaccinated” to mean at least 14 days after a single dose vaccine or 14 days after the second dose of a 2-dose series vaccine.

Contact the Guyana Ministry of Health if you need further information on COVID-19 entry requirements for Guyana.
