On this page you will be able to find solicitations issued by the Embassy of the United States of America in Georgetown for the acquisition of commodities and/or services.

It is now compulsory for all companies doing business with the U.S. Government to register on a website called “SAM – System for Award Management” (www.sam.gov).  The website compiles standard information such as company legal name, street address, contact information, and what kind of goods and services it offers. To register in SAM, a DUNS number and a NCAGE code are required. If you do not have this information, it will have to be obtained before registering. There is no cost involved, neither in obtaining the numbers, nor registering in SAM. Note:  Offerors shall keep in mind that registrations between the systems must match.   Please be mindful to use the same spacing, punctuations, and abbreviations.

The Embassy of the United States invites you to submit a quotation for gardening services at the Marine Security Guard Residence, Georgetown, Guyana. The Embassy intends to award a sole contract for these services.

The U.S. Embassy in Georgetown on occasion has a need to rent safe, secure, and well maintained residential properties (houses and apartments) from responsible landlords.  The properties must be in good condition and the landlord must be willing to bring their property up to U.S. Government safety, security, and maintenance standards and agree to maintain the property.  The owner must also be willing to sign a long-term lease (up to nine years) with competitive rates.  If you have a property that may meet these guidelines and are interested in renting your property,  please send us a description of the property with photos and the floor plans with your offer and provide us with your contact information at GeorgetownGSOHousing@state.gov.

The United States Embassy in Georgetown seeks proposals for project management training for Embassy staff.

The training will occur in spring of 2021.  The course will last for 5 days and be delivered virtually, with a maximum of six hours of instruction per day for no more than 20 employees.  A maximum of two days should focus on project management theory, including the Department of State project cycle.  Three days or more should focus on an interactive example, where participants apply project management concepts on a sample project.  The medium of delivery is Zoom, and the language of delivery is English.
